First Drafting Unit! Cybrid Technologies Co-Drafts and Officially Releases the Industry Standard for Positioning Tape

Recently, the China Photovoltaic Industry Association released the group standard for positioning tapes for crystalline silicon PV modules. Cybrid Technologies Inc. participated in the preparation as the initial drafter of the industry standards. The release of this group standard is an important achievement of the Company in promoting innovation-driven development and standardized manufacturing strategies.

Positioning tape is made by coating pressure-sensitive adhesive onto a polyester (PET) substrate. It is used in module lamination to fix and position cell strings or other components, primarily to prevent them from shifting or slipping during lamination. Cybrid has consistently been a leader in this market segment. This product, along with our POE encapsulant, transparent mesh backsheet, and perforated edge tapes form a fully integrated material solution for bifacial photovoltaic modules. The release of the group standard, which we co-drafted, will further strengthen our competitive advantage in the fields of positioning tape and dual-material solutions for the photovoltaic industry.

As a key drafter of this standard, You Qian, a member of the company's positioning tape project team, stated, "Top-tier companies set the standards.
